With only 6 reportedly in existence, you can see why we didn’t tell the Engineers when they were stripping the clutch down! Later – after much blood, sweat and tears – we have one happy customer and a 1927 Panthette 250cc still on the road!
Beard & Fitch Ltd had the great honour of working on this amazing part of history back in the day when Engineers wore bowler hats! Now we are going to be making the gear box again – with the addition of a reverse gear! Challenge accepted!
Our Engineers have been having fun dismantling this clutch from a classic motorcycle without any instructions! No Engineers were harmed although a few choice words were said as they eventually managed to release the pressure on the very strong spring and take the assembly apart.#classicmotorcycles #motorcycleclutch #engineering
